Knowledge is Power Program

Bayview Foundation’s partnership with the nationally renowned KIPP Schools (Knowledge Is Power Program Schools) started in 2018 with the opening of Miami Sunrise Academy, Miami’s first KIPP School, in Liberty City.

Bayview Foundation recruits students who graduated from the Foundation’s “I Have a Dream” Program to serve as mentors to the students at KIPP Miami Sunrise Academy. The Foundation supports the inaugural kindergarten and first graders at KIPP Miami Sunrise Academy with a College Prep and Mentoring Program that provides school programming targeted to their age group. The program includes reading, math, science, social skills, art, music, and cooking skills.

To date, Bayview Foundation support has extended to more than 200 kindergarten and first grade students through the proven program model of the Knowledge Is Power Program.
